We are seeking a dedicated and trustworthy individual to join our team as a Dog Walker. This role offers the opportunity to combine a love of animals with flexible working hours, while providing an essential service to pet owners in our community.
As a Dog Walker, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and happiness of dogs during their daily walks. Duties include collecting dogs from their homes, following agreed walking routes, supervising play and exercise, and returning them safely. You will be expected to manage dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments, maintaining control and providing attentive care at all times. Reliability and punctuality are essential, as owners depend on you to provide a high and consistent service.
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
A genuine passion for animal welfare and canine companionship
Strong communication skills and a professional manner when interacting with clients
The ability to handle multiple dogs confidently and safely
Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and client needs
Driving license and confidence driving vans
Previous experience working with animals is advantageous but not required, as training will be provided. Successful applicants will be subject to background checks to ensure the highest standards of trust and safety.
